One credit system, three meters

Every API call consumes credits from a meter. Each meter has its own wallet and its own budget — so a spike in one product never eats into another.

Tagging

Returns genre, mood, instruments, tempo, key and dozens of other attributes for an audio file.

Pricing FAQ

Before you hit "buy"

The questions we get most often from finance & procurement teams.

Do unused credits roll over?
On Pay-as-you-go, purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and do roll over between months until that expiry. On Free and Enterprise tiers, the monthly cap resets at the start of each period and unused credits are not carried over.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your next API call returns 402 Payment Required. You can enable soft overage to keep serving traffic up to a threshold you define, and we'll alert you as you approach it. Overage billing is invoiced at the end of the month.
Do meters share their credit pool?
No. Each meter (Tagging, Profiling, Fingerprinting) has its own wallet and its own cap. Buying Tagging credits does not top up Profiling, and vice versa. This keeps budgets predictable per product surface.
How does billing work on Pay-as-you-go?
You pre-pay a credit bundle (any size) and we draw it down as you make API calls. You can top up at any time from the dashboard. The larger the bundle, the lower the per-credit price — check the calculator below.
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes — upgrades are effective immediately, downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Enterprise contracts have their own term; reach out to sales@musimap.com to discuss changes.
Is there a refund policy?
Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, minus any consumed amount. After 30 days, credits remain valid until their 12-month expiry but are non-refundable. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
