Releases
Product editions with type, nature, availability, and copyright lines.
A release is a concrete product edition: a specific album, single, or EP version you can buy or stream. MusiMap can represent its title, product type, nature, availability, format, copyright lines, UPC/EAN identifiers, classifications, credits, and linked publication events.
Parameters
These parameters describe the product edition itself. Publication dates, territories, and issuing labels are represented through release publication events.

Edition label (for example Deluxe or Remaster). |
format |
Physical or digital format descriptor (for example CD, vinyl, or digital). |
disc_count |
Number of discs or media units in this edition. |
explicit |
Whether the release is marked explicit overall. |
p_line |
Phonographic copyright line for the release product. |
c_line |
Copyright line for the underlying composition on the release product. |
display_artist_override |
Display text used when the credited artists need to be presented differently on the product. |
External references
Releases can carry external references such as UPC, EAN, or provider-specific release identifiers.

Credits
Release-level credits when contributors are credited on the product rather than on individual tracks.
