Tracks

Recordings with duration, explicit flag, and recording credits.

A track is a concrete recording: an audio embodiment of a work. MusiMap can store its title, version, duration, language, and explicit status; carry an ISRC and other external identifiers; attach classifications and credits; and link it to works and releases.

Parameters

These parameters describe the recording itself. The underlying composition is represented as a linked work.

Parameter	Description
`title`	The title of the recording.
`subtitle`	Subtitle shown with the recording title.
`version_title`	Version label (for example “Radio Edit” or “Live at Wembley”).
`duration`	Length of the recording.
`language`	Primary language of the recording performance, when known.
`explicit`	Whether the recording is marked explicit or carries parental advisory.
`display_artist_override`	Display text used when the credited artists need to be presented differently for this recording (for example “Various Artists”).

External references

Tracks can carry external references such as ISRCs, provider-specific recording identifiers, and fingerprint references where applicable.

Field	Description
`identifier_type`	What kind of identifier this is (for example ISRC, a provider-specific recording ID, or a fingerprint reference).
`value`	The identifier value as supplied by the source or catalogue owner.
`provider`	The authority or provider namespace (for example an industry registry, MusicBrainz, or your catalogue provider).

Vocabulary assignments

Classifications from source data or catalogue owners (for example genre, mood, or campaign tags on the recording).

Field	Description
`vocabulary`	The classification namespace (for example genre, internal_genre, or campaign_category).
`term`	The assigned value within that vocabulary (for example Soul, Hard Metal, or Christmas Campaign).
`weight`	Numeric weight or importance from the source or catalogue owner. This is not MusiMap analytical confidence.
`catalog_scope`	Limits this classification to a specific catalogue when required; otherwise it applies to the entity throughout the workspace.

Credits

Performers, producers, and other contributors credited on this recording.

Field	Description
`credited_name`	How the contributor is credited when no resolved artist record exists.
`artist`	Link to a contributor artist record, when resolved.
`artist_name`	Link to a specific name on the contributor (for example a stage name rather than a legal name).
`role`	The contribution role (for example main artist, composer, producer, or performer).
`order`	Display order among credits on the same entity.

Lyrics

Lyric text and metadata associated with the recording, including language and type when available.

Field	Description
`language`	Language of the lyric text when known (for example en or ko).
`lyric_type`	The kind of lyric record: plain text, synced lyrics, translation, or other.
`synced_available`	Whether timed lyric synchronization is available for this record. MusiMap stores a flag only; timed segments are not exposed separately today.
`text_content`	Full lyric text when display rules allow it to be shown.
`publicly_available`	Whether the lyric is treated as publicly displayable.
`can_show_to_user`	Whether the lyric may be shown to end users in permitted surfaces.
`can_use_for_search`	Whether the lyric may be used for search experiences.
